My Background
One of my earliest memory is my mother coming to my kindergarten class I had disrupted. I was crying, thinking I was being punished... my teacher had put my drawing of my family on the bulletin board... Mom assured me it was a good thing.

I dabble in many different mediums, but find my heart in acrylics. I believe the medium helps to tell the story. Many find it interesting that I sometime use bleach as a medium, a technique I learned from my high school teacher Berylle Clevering, a lady long gone but not forgotten.

I live for the joy of family... I have lost most of that joy and/or have moved away from them. I have a son in Milwaukee who is gonna make me a grandma in March... very excited! And, two Boxer dogs. Dogs especially Boxers have been a huge part of my life and I paint them often. I have an innate understanding of dogs Training them was one of my career paths for over 40 years.
